Massage Therapy in Portland | Expanse Massage & Bodywork

Intro

My name is Ryan Beam (LMT #27501). I’m licensed massage therapist working in the Hollywood District of Portland, Oregon.

Expanse Massage & Bodywork is a creation of mine and, by nature, the many people, places, ideas, impulses, and communities that I am enmeshed with. This is a thank you letter to it all. 

My goal is to create a space that feels natural for people who already know and love massage, as well as for those who may be new to receiving this form of care and might feel uncertain about whether or not it is for them. 

I am committed to providing safe and effective massage and bodywork that facilitates relief, education, and empowerment. I celebrate my strengths and acknowledge with excitement where I have yet to grow, learn, and unfold. 

I believe deeply that there is a place for levity, gravity, and everything in between in any and every session. I believe what is therapeutic for each person is beautifully unique to them. 

I view each session as a collaboration, and am open to and hungry for any feedback you may have.
